Our contacts in NY who attended the February 28th SAFE Act protest estimated between 5000 to 8000 attendees. Lots of emotions, voices, and frustration directed toward their state government. With the ever increasing pressure on NY gun owners, emotions ran high. The protest was described as a “deafening chorus of disapproval that made the hairs on my neck stand up – not just from the vigor and volume of it, but the unity of purpose that it represented”.
